Ceremony

Your ceremony at Evedon Lakeside Retreat can be as relaxed or as formal as you like, set amongst natural bushland and lakeside views.

Exchange vows in our lakeside amphitheatre, entering via the bridge for a memorable arrival, or choose from other beautiful locations across the property — including the lush lawns by the restaurant or right by the water’s edge. With multiple ceremony spaces available, you have the flexibility to create a setting that suits your style.

After the ceremony, guests can enjoy drinks and canapés in the surrounding gardens, with plenty of space to relax on the verandas or in the alfresco area overlooking the lake.

With a variety of scenic backdrops all in one location, Evedon provides the perfect setting for stunning wedding photography and a seamless, enjoyable experience for you and your guests.

Reception

Our function centre offers a warm and inviting space, featuring polished wooden floors, exposed timber beams, and natural stone elements, all complemented by beautiful views across the lake.

Host a seated reception for up to 90 guests or choose a more relaxed cocktail-style celebration for up to 150 guests across our indoor and outdoor spaces. For something truly special, celebrate under the stars on the lakeside lawns, with plenty of room for live music or a DJ.

A standout feature of the venue is the timber staircase, creating the perfect moment for your entrance as a newly married couple.

Accommodation

Evedon offers the convenience of onsite accommodation, allowing you and your guests to relax and fully enjoy the celebration without the need to travel.

With six lakeside cabins and ten two-storey apartments, we can accommodate up to 70 guests. All rooms are fully self-contained and include air conditioning, a slow combustion fire, and full kitchen facilities.

Our cabins sleep up to five guests, while the two-storey apartments are ideal for couples or small groups, featuring a mezzanine loft and separate bedroom can sleep up to four guests.

Catering & Wedding Packages

Evedon offers in-house catering and beverage packages, designed to suit a range of wedding styles — from cocktail-style menus to seated dining experiences. Our team will work with you to create a menu that complements your day and reflects your preferences.

We also offer wedding packages tailored to your needs and can connect you with a range of trusted local vendors including stylists, photographers, celebrants, florists, and entertainers. We also offer mini wedding packages, midweek options, and ceremony-only packages, perfect for couples seeking a more intimate or flexible celebration. This allows you the flexibility to personalise your wedding while still enjoying the guidance of experienced professionals.
