Restaurant and Function Supervisor

We seek an enthusiastic Restaurant and Function Supervisor to join our team.

We are looking for an all-rounder, who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, has a great work ethic together with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and the region. We are a small team, and we seek a vibrant, respectful person to join us.

Full-time Restaurant and Function Supervisor including weekdays and weekends, mix of days and evenings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prompt, courteous and friendly service to customers
• Supervise, inspire and organise wait staff
• Manage restaurant and kitchen flow
• Work alongside chef/s
• Run food, clear tables and set up / pull down
• General bar duties, including ordering
• Barista duties
• Attract and mange functions including Weddings, Corporate and Social Events
• Maintain clean and tidy restaurant
• Clean restaurant, bar and service areas, entries and bathrooms
• Greets restaurant and hotel guests and other staff on site in a polite and courteous manner.
• Must be available weekends and school holidays
• Carry out other duties as directed by the Manager including assistance to other departments or outlets when required.

Skills & Experience

• A genuine passion for the hospitality industry, local produce and wine
• Excellent customer service skills and a vibrant personality
• Experience in a similar role (supervisor position)
• Eager to learn and develop
• Strong interpersonal and English communication skills
• Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating roster including holidays and weekends
• Current Approved Managers/RSA and COVID-19 hygiene certificates an advantage
• Training provided
• Own transport

Evedon Lakeside Retreat comprises of ten two-storey lakeside apartments and six lakeside cabins, a restaurant café, function centre and conference room.  The retreat is nestled in a jarrah forest on the banks of stunning Evedon Lake just 20 minutes from Bunbury and 35 minutes from Collie.

The timber and stone lakeside restaurant is fully licensed, offering a la carte restaurant and café, wedding receptions, functions and special events.
